LUTCHER—Yvonne’s Directions In Dance will be celebrating their 36th annual dance recital “Page To Stage” on Sunday, May 7 at the Warren Harang Auditorium in Thibodaux.

The students will perform tap, jazz, lyrical and gymnastic numbers along with the full-length Ballet production of Encanto.  The Royal Court parade will take place at 1:30 p.m. and the recital will begin at 2 p.m.

YDID’S 2023 Cover Girl Winner is Alva Millet, daughter of Ryan and Jessica Millet of Paulina. Alva is a member of the Dance Company and is an award winning regional and national soloist. Several others were named Cover Girl Runner-Up. Second place is Nola Nosacka, daughter of Alan and Denise Nosacka of Gramercy; Third Place is Cadence Vaughn, daughter of Cedric Vaughn and Charis Carey of Vacherie; Fourth Place is Eden Guzman, daughter of Bill and Erika Guzman of Paulina; Fifth Place are Mikayla Forsythe and Ella Forsythe, daughters of Brett and Monica Forsythe of Paulina; Sixth Place is Tenley Pilgram, daughter of Neil and Brandy Pilgram of Paulina; Seventh Place is Olivia Legg, daughter of Royce and Aimee Legg of Gramercy; Eighth place  is Demi Deslatte, daughter  of Rebecca Brignac of Paulina. Ninth Place is Madelyn Martin daughter of Chris and Jennifer Martin of Paulina; 10th place ad winner is Bryleigh Cantillo, daughter of Joey and Brandi Credidio of Paulina.

Court Members include the following: Halle Lee, Adalynn Downing, McKenzie Hayes, Rosalie Beech, Jour’Nee Smith, Bryleigh Castille, Everleigh Delatte, Paige Scioneaux, Rhyan Bardell, Ryan Whittington, Alexis and Allie Forsyth, Baylor Waguespack, Parker Byrd, Dylan Polk, Lillian Landry, Kaleigh & Kassidy Zenon, Raina Simmons, Skylar & Teagan Nathan, Tru Charles, Ally LeBouef, Carli Bourgeois, Layla Veron, Nora Walker, Za’Lyn Gardner, Lola Labiche, Nyla Perrilloux, Rhylee Retif, Taila Carr, Khloe’ Gros, Adleigh Luminais, Brinley Roccaforte, Isabella Larouse, Korryn LeBlanc, Royce Parquette and Khloe Clark.

Alva Millet, 2023 Cover Girl, will perform her lyrical/contemporary solo “Soldier”.

All students with five or more years of training will be presented with their yearly awards at the conclusion of the show.

Discounted tickets to the recital will be available at the studio prior to the show.
