Riverside Academy will be a fun place to be this weekend as the school holds its annual Spring Festival from Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16. The campus will be filled with rides, games, food, and live entertainment as Riverside “Rocks the Decades.”

The festival will open at 5 p.m. on “Fifties Friday” with an appearance by Elvis tribute artist, Nick Perkins. A Fabulous 50s contest also will be held. Hamburger steak and mashed potato meals will be sold.

“Eighties Saturday” will feature a Fun Run, Miss Spring Belle Pageant, a cook-off, a bake-off, and a cornhole tournament. Chili Mac and cook-off samplers will be sold.

On “Swamp Pop Sunday” there will be a classic car show, band performances, and a live auction. Baked chicken and dirty rice dinners will be sold.
