LULINGโ€”In coordination with the DEAโ€™s national prescription drug take-back initiative, the St. Charles Parish Sheriffโ€™s Office will host a take-back event at its headquarters located at 260 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling on Saturday, April 22. This free and anonymous event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event provides a safe and environmentally responsible means to properly dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medications, household medications or vaping devices.

Intravenous solutions, injectables, and syringes will NOT be accepted due to potential hazards posed by blood-borne pathogens.
