SJSO responds to train crash; driver of vehicle sought

On Monday, March 27, about 2 a.m., the St. John Parish Traffic Division responded to a train crash at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Milton Street in LaPlace.
The driver of a pickup truck struck by a train fled the area on foot. He is described as a black male wearing a white shirt. Anyone who may have information about the crash or the location of the driver is asked to call Lt. Jared Seruntine at 985-359-8795.
