School Board meetings are to help us to understand “where our tax dollars go,” to learn how public schools support students and families and to illustrate a glimpse of the day-to- day realities of public schools. The information shared in these meetings help provide context to what’s happening in and around your school community.

When it comes to what’s going on in the public schools, teachers, principals and school administrators are the go-to-source, they are the ones in the buildings. The growth of the students is determined by the faculty and staff, they see the challenges and successes schools experience and they see first-hand the results of the decisions that impact public schools.

A 21st Century Education is about giving students the skills they need to succeed in this new world age movement, and helping them improve with confidence to practice those skills.

Parents, Guardians, Stakeholders, and Taxpayers are saying we have lost too much in education since the beginning of the 21st Century, how do we catch up? Our greatest lost, of course, is Transparency, Accountability and Communication (T.A.C).

It is never enough to have good intentions in the education of the children in this parish, we need the best because our children have been waiting for too long, also we need to see the progress in our schools.

Every citizen counts! There is room on board for more people that are Tired of the Lack of Justice, Integrity, and Morals when it comes to the future of St. John the Baptist Parish (we all count).
