Jesus speaks of parable in Luke 15:8-10. A woman finds a coin that she had lost. The coin represents the sinner. One who is traveling on a dark road without the light of Jesus Christ.

The parable exhibits that being lost does not depreciate the value that God places on us. He sent his son Jesus to save those that were lost.

Just as the woman deemed her coin to be valuable, God deems the sinner to be also. The woman displayed the worth she saw the coin by her actions towards it. Doesn’t that sound like God?

She diligently looked for it until it was found. After finding it she called her friends and neighbors to rejoice with her.

Like the woman, that saw value in what was lost, we should also despite what we see in the natural. There is value in the lost. I can say that because I once was lost. Until Jesus came and found me on the dark road of life. He shinned his light in my life once I accepted him in my heart. I became like the woman rejoicing about what she had found. The only difference was I was the one that was found! Therefore, never write off anyone because they are lost; they could be found one day! God bless!
