VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS OFFERED AT SERVICE CORPORATION INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CAREER FAIR

Jefferson Parish based Stewart Enterprises seeks to fill over 25 customer service positions at Feb. 8th event
BATON ROUGE, La. – Registration is now open for an LED FastStart online career fair that will connect job seekers in the New Orleans area with more than 25 available positions at Service Corporation International, a funeral, cemetery and cremation services company in Jefferson Parish.

The online event will take place Wednesday, Feb 8th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Positions to be filled at the career fair include:

  • Bilingual First Party Collections Representative
  • First Party Collections Representative

SCI will conduct virtual interviews and offer on-the-spot hiring for qualified candidates. Qualifications include experience working in a call center as well as a background in either customer service or collections. Shift schedules will be eight hour shifts, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Training will be held onsite at SCI’s New Orleans office from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work from home hybrid schedules will be available after training and evaluation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision 401(k), and paid time off.

“SCI is excited to continue our partnership with LED FastStart to bring an opportunity to onshore our Collections team,” said SCI Manager of Talent Acquisition Jenny Timmons. “We have partnered with LED since our onshoring project began in 2020 to bring jobs to the New Orleans area.”

Using the Brazen virtual events platform, job seekers will have the opportunity to learn about SCI and see the opportunities for which they are best suited. Registrants also can participate in video chats with company representatives who may be making on the spot hires.

Since the digital LED FastStart Recruiting platform was launched in October 2020, over 1,900 job seekers have participated in more than 27 online career fairs for multiple businesses or individual companies.
