On January 16, 2023, Alton Grayson, 37, from New Orleans was stopped at 2:47am in the 3200 block of Williams Blvd. by KPD Patrol Division for multiple traffic violations. Upon further investigation, Grayson was found in possession of 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 5000 𝙀𝙘𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙮 𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙨, 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙟𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 40 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙜𝙪𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙣 out of New Orleans. Additionally, Grayson is a convicted felon who is prohibited from being in the possession of a firearm.
