Allemands Elementary School would like to congratulate Mrs. Aimee Vedros for being selected as our 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year!  Mrs. Vedros has been teaching for 18 years.  Throughout her career, she has taught preK, kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade.  She is currently a Primary Literacy Interventionist who helps students that require extra support with developing their reading skills and abilities.

 

When asked to reflect on her personal life and thoughts about teaching, Mrs. Vedros said, “I love spending time with my family and making memories to last a lifetime.  Most of my time is spent researching best practices in order to give the absolute best to my students and teachers every day.  Being a teacher comes with an incredible sense of responsibility and joy.  It is a privilege that I take pride in each and every day.”  pictured are Mrs. Aimee Vedros and principal, Mrs. Lisa Perrin
