Livingston Parish Resident Wanted for Home Improvement Fraud

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating 28 year old Leche “Bub” Gatlin of Springfield, La. in connection with two different incidents throughout 2021 and 2022.
Chief Jimmy Travis says Gatlin is accused of accepting $1,400 in payment for the construction of a fence in 2021, and to date has not completed any of the construction. In 2022 Gatlin is accused of accepting $18,000 for a large home improvement project, but again, failed to perform any of the requested work. Through the course of the investigation Detectives were also able to confirm Gatlin does not have a license through the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC).
As a result of the investigations noted above, Gatlin is wanted for:
(1) count Home Improvement Fraud (value $1,000 – $5,000)
(1) count Home Improvement Fraud (value $5,000 – $25,000)
(1) count Theft (felony)
(1) count Contracting without a License
