The St. Charles Parish Sheriffโ€™s Office is currently investigating several vehicle burglaries that occurred overnight Monday, November 14 into the morning hours of Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in the Lakewood area of Luling, LA.
Five vehicle burglaries have been reported, and all vehicles were left unlocked.
Through investigation, detectives located video surveillance showing two subjects in hooded sweatshirts pulling on car door handles. The subjects appeared to be followed by a small hatchback-style sedan.

Citizens are reminded of the importance of locking their vehicles and removing valuables while left unattended.
We are urging anyone with any information including citizens in the area with home surveillance or Ring camera systems, to review their video footage from overnight Monday, November 14 into the morning hours of Tuesday, November 15, and to contact SCSO Detective Joshua DeRoche at jderoche@stcharlessheriff.org or (985) 783-6807 if any suspicious activities are observed.
