Clinton – On November 15, 2022, shortly after 3:00 pm, Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A began investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash on LA 960 north of LA 63 in East Feliciana Parish. The crash ultimately claimed the life of 45-year-old Gregory Paul Kent of Clinton.

The initial investigation revealed that Kent was driving a 2008 Honda Foreman 500 ATV headed north on LA 960. For reasons still being investigated, Kent exited the roadway to the right and struck a culvert.  The impact caused Kent to be ejected from the ATV and collide with a utility pole.

Kent, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.  As part of the ongoing investigation, a toxicology sample was obtained and will be submitted for analysis.  This crash remains under investigation.
