On October 27, 2022, at 11:45 PM Kenner Officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 2300 block of Williams Boulevard for traffic violations.
Officers asked the passenger, later identified as Roy Hilton, 25, New Orleans, to exit the vehicle. Upon exiting, Hilton claimed he was injured, pretended to limp from the vehicle and continuously reached for his waistband as if he was in pain. Suddenly, Hilton pushed the officer away and attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended.
A pat down of Hilton revealed a Glock 9mm handgun concealed in his waistband. A further search of Hilton revealed him to be in possession of crack cocaine, marijuana and an unknown powder substance that will require testing for identification.
Upon returning back to the vehicle, the driver later identified as Antoinette Williams, 35, Metairie, was observed attempting to pull something out of a backpack. Officers detained Williams and located a ten-month-old child in the backseat of the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the backpack revealed it to contain methamphetamine and pills.
Antoinette Williams was arrested and charged with RS40:967C(1)(A) Possession of a Schedule II CDS (Pills) and RS40:967C(1)(A) Possession of a Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine).
