HAHNVILLE — The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation in partnership with Ochsner Performance Training, will offer a three-day speed and agility clinic during the Thanksgiving holiday in the Edward A. Dufrense Community Center.

These clinics are offered for young athletes ages 7-14, looking to get stronger, faster and improve their overall athleticism. The workouts will be coached and programmed by Certified Strength and Conditioning Professionals.  Each workout will consist of a great Warm-up, Speed/Agility, Plyometric, Strength Training, Core/Conditioning, and Flexibility. Athletes will learn proper Sprinting Techniques, as well as how to properly change direction.

Group sessions will be held on November 21, November 22 and November 23. Children ages 7 –10 (Group A) will work out from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., and children ages 11 – 14 (Group B) will work out from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

 

Registration for the camp is open through November 20, and fees are $50 per camper.
