SCSO seeks information regarding Luling shooting

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance for information on a shooting that occurred Tuesday, November 1, 2022, around 10:45 P.M. in the 1000 block of Paul Fredrick Street in Luling.

Deputies were dispatched to the area around 10:45 P.M. based on the report of gunfire.

When deputies arrived at the location, they located a juvenile male subject with gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately began rendering aid and he was transported to a local area hospital. The juvenile has been released from the hospital.

A stolen vehicle from a nearby parish was located abandoned in the area with damage from gunfire.

Deputies were dispatched to a local area hospital on the report of a second male subject with gunshot wounds at approximately 11:15 P.M. He is also listed in stable condition.

These two shootings are believed to be related.

This is an ongoing active investigation.
