Ponchatoula Police make arrest for attempted 2nd Degree Murder

Joshua Taylor has been charged with Attempted Murder- 2nd Degree as a result of a shooting that took place at the Ole Skool Bar over the weekend.
On Sunday morning at approximately 12:30am, officers responded to the Ole Skool Bar after receiving a call of shots being fired. One person was located lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to the hospital by Acadian. Taylor was taken into custody and charged with Attempted Murder-2nd Degree and transported to TPSO jail.
