LAPLACE — Matherne’s Supermarket on Airline Highway in LaPlace sold a winning $1,000,000 lotto ticket in last Tuesday’s Mega Millions Drawing, according to the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.

Last week’s lottery winner is the second to purchase a $1M+ winning ticket in LaPlace in recent months. In July 2022, a lotto ticket purchased at Big River Food and Fuel #7 on West Airline Highway in LaPlace won the $2,755,227 jackpot.
