SCSO Asking for Help to Locate a Motorcycle and Identify the Driver Involved in Luling Business Theft

On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at approximately 7:00 pm, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 1221 Paul Maillard Road Luling (Dollar General Store) for a report of theft. The caller advised a white male stole items from the store and fled on a motorcycle.

Arriving deputies learned a male subject entered the store and carried around various items he picked up from shelves. An employee observed the male open several packages of merchandise before leaving the store without paying for any items. The employee found the opened packages with the items removed.

Video evidence obtained from the store shows a white male wearing a gray motorcycle helmet, green jacket, black pants, with a short brown beard and white plastic bags covering both of his feet. The male is believed to be 5’8 – 6’0 in height. The male left the store on a white and blue Suzuki motorcycle with no license plate.

Detectives with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate the motorcycle and identify the male subject.
