Itโ€™s almost that time โ€“ โ€œ๐“‘๐“ช๐“ฝ๐“ฝ๐“ต๐“ฎ ๐“ธ๐“ท ๐“ฝ๐“ฑ๐“ฎ ๐“ก๐“ฒ๐“ฟ๐“ฎ๐“ปโ€ โ€“ Destrehan High School vs. Hahnville High School!
The big game is this Friday, September 23, 2022, gates open at 5 PM and kickoff is set for 7 PM.
We know everyone is excited and we are too, but the St. Charles Parish Sheriffโ€™s Office has some reminders before the big rivalry game for juveniles and parents.
Juvenile Curfew Hours โ€“ We cannot cancel the juvenile curfew for the week, itโ€™s still 10 PM โ€“ 5 AM every day for anyone 17 years or younger. There are exemptions to the curfew such as when with a parent, in an emergency situation, or for a legitimate purpose directed by their parent. The curfew applies to public places or in the โ€œstreetsโ€. If a juvenile is stopped for being out after curfew, parents will be contacted to pick them up.
Damage to Property โ€“ We cannot overlook pranks when they go wrong and cause damage to someoneโ€™s property. These are no longer pranks and are considered a crime.
Penalties for violating curfew are determined based on the circumstances of the violation. Penalties for committing damage to property are determined based on the severity of the crime.
Good luck to ๐““๐“—๐“ข & ๐“—๐“—๐“ข!
