SCSO Asking for Help to Locate a Vehicle and Identify the Driver Involved in Destrehan Business Burglary

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at approximately 3:50 am, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 13470 River Road in Destrehan (Big River Shell Longview) for a commercial burglary alarm. When deputies arrived, they found the glass front door shattered, items on the floor, and a cash register and lottery tickets missing.
Video evidence obtained from the store shows a black male wearing a gray hoodie pullover, dark pants, gray gloves, and tennis shoes. The male had the hood pulled over his head and his face completely covered by a black object. He left the store in an older model SUV.
At approximately 4:00 am, deputies responded to 101 St. Rose Avenue in St. Rose (St. Rose First Stop) for a commercial burglary alarm. When deputies arrived, they found the glass front door shattered, items on the floor, and cigarettes missing.
Detectives with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate the vehicle and identify the male subject. The vehicle pictured is believed to be an older model Subaru Forester.
