TPSO: 3 arrested for first degree murder of missing Hammond man

On July 17, 2022, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating the disappearance of 22 year old Tywonne “Day-Day” Neal of Hammond, Louisiana.
Chief Jimmy Travis reports throughout the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify three people responsible for the disappearance of Neal. After conducting several interviews in the investigation, detectives were able to obtain a location where the remains of Neal could be found.
On August 2, 2022 the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office accompanied by members of LASAR (Louisiana Search and Rescue) went to Singing Waterfalls Road in Husser, Louisiana where they were able to locate the remains of Neal in a shallow grave.
On August 3, 2022 detectives arrested Zoei Casnave, 20 years of age from Folsom, Louisiana and Dominick Brumfield, 24 years of age from Hammond, Louisiana in connection with the investigation. A third suspect, 22 year old Milton Clark III of Covington, Louisiana, was taken into custody by the US Marshal Service along with Customs and Border Patrol while working on a tugboat in the Gulf of Mexico. Milton was transported and booked into a correctional facility in Texas where he will be extradited back to Louisiana at a later date. All three suspects are being charged with First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery with a gun and Obstruction of Justice.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Hammond Police Department, LASAR, the US Marshall Service and Customs and Border Patrol for their assistance in this homicide investigation along with the tips from the public in helping bring this case to a close.
