Library System announces Summer Reading Program winners

LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Library ended its annual Summer Reading Program on Friday, July 15. The Library System administrators appreciate all patrons who completed and participated in this year’s “Oceans of Possibilities” themed program.

Adults who completed the program are as listed: Arnelle Barre, Arlene Bayes, Cherie Boudreaux, Olivia Boudreaux, Logan Boynton, Patricia Coleman, Susan Davis, Misty French, Anthony Gauthier, Bill Graves, Lanie Guidry, Betty Lasseingne, Karen Laurent, Lillian LeBlanc, Patricia Levie, Joy Monica, Adina Oubre, Joycelyn Perret, Justin Pyke, Tiffany Ringuette, Mariela Stein, Kevin Travis, Lakeriyon Washington, Sandra Washington, Amanda Whitlock, Odile Wilson and Amy Wombles.

Teens who completed the program are as listed: Jade August, Asia Davis, Tre’ja Isom, Isabella Morgan, Nevaeh Travis, Kaci Williams and Kori Williams.

Children who completed the program are as listed: Prince Alexander, Dee Bower, Harmony Briggs, Brock Brunet, Alex Campbell, Jarrett Cooper, Cason Dufrene, Easton Easley, Karla Perez-French, Carson Giancontieri, Cohn Houpy, Devin Jenkins, Bethany Mercer, Claire Mercer, Jordan Ogletree, Ellie Ray, Ellie Stein, Alyssa Trosclair, Rene’ Trosclair IV, Avery Ursin, Skylar Ursin, Aiden Whitlock and Christian Wiggins.

A random drawing was held to determine the grand prize winners of the program.  The winners are as listed, Harmony Briggs (Children, Age 0-5), Bethany Mercer (Children, Age 6-11), Tre’ja Isom (Teen), and Karen Laurent (Adult).
