3 St. Charles Parish men arrested for Kenner carjacking

On July 17, at 5 a,m., Kenner Police responded to a report of a carjacking that occurred in the 3000 block of Illinois Avenue, Kenner.
The victim was sitting in her vehicle, with the engine running, preparing to leave for work, when two suspects approached her vehicle and ordered her out of her car by gunpoint.
Neighbors of the victim, whose residences were equipped with surveillance cameras, assisted the police with the carjacking investigation by providing vital video surveillance evidence.
Kenner detectives reviewed the video and identified a suspect vehicle that had dropped off the two carjacking suspects. With that video and additional evidence uncovered as the investigation progressed, detectives were able to quickly identify and obtain arrest warrants for three suspects.
July 18, 2022, Terrell Bowers, 20, St. Rose, was arrested and charged with RS 14:24-64.3- Principal to Armed Robbery.
July 20, 2022, Benjamin Reynaud, 20, St. Rose, was arrested and charged with RS14:64.3-Armed Robbery with Use of a Firearm and RS 14:67.26 Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
July 21, 2022, Brandon Lewis, 21, Destrehan, was arrested and charged with RS 14:64.3- Armed Robbery with Use of a Firearm and RS 14:67.26 Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
