Antoine J. “Pop Top” Brady, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 77. He was a native of Reserve, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA. Pop Top was the owner and operator of LaPlace Custom Paint and Body Shop. He enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting.
Beloved husband of 30 years to Denise St. Martin Brady. Loving father of Brian Brady (Alana), Merrill Brady (Margaret), Lori Brock (Kenneth), Jude Simar (Tara), James Simar (Kerri) and Amanda Milioto (Caston). Grandfather of Matthew Brady, Kailey, Kolby, and Kaide Brock, Brinley and Rhys Brady, Lauren and Drake Simar, Jeanne Matherne (Derick), Luke Simar, and Nathan, Matthew and Amelia Milioto. Great grandfather of Henry Matherne and Stevie Moon Walker. Son of the late Antoine W. Brady, Sr. and Ella Ruth Audiffred Brady. Brother of Darlin Brady-Caro (Ronald). Brother-in-law of Andrew St. Martin (Charlene), Paul St. Martin (Tish), Daniel St. Martin (Gaylynn), Lee St. Martin (Shelly), Anna Henry (Roy), and Patricia St. Martin. Also survived by his niece, Julia Caro and many other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 West 5th Street, LaPlace on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Visitation will be held in church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
