Kenner Police: Body of missing person found in canal

Kenner Police are investigating a body found floating in the 1000 block of Canal 12, located in the Kenner subdivision of Lincoln Manor.
On July 5, 2022, at 4:00 PM, a Kenner Officer, who was conducting follow up on a report of an earlier missing person observed what appeared to be a body floating in the canal.
The body has been identified as Ida Clouden, 83 year-old female, who was reported missing by her son earlier this morning.
Mrs. Clouden was a long time resident of the Lincoln Manor subdivision. She was known to wander off from her residence and had been reported missing by her son on several prior occasions.
Police are reviewing video surveillance of the area where she went into the canal and there does not appear to be any foul play involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
