LAPLACE — Summer is here, and Victorious Life Family Worship Center’s Camp Fusion is well on its way.

Fusion Youth Outreach Ministry, Apostle Renita and Ambassador Winston Graber along with their church family have once again reached out to meet the needs of the St. John, St. Charles and St. James Parish communities.

Fusion Youth Director Tawanda Thomas expressed, “Children are very important to us because when we impact one child’s life, we can change the footprint of that family’s generation. Our camp is a Grade A summer camp and FUN FUN FUN – There is nothing missing. The camp is a wonderful experience for the children who attend. They absolutely love it.”

An alternative to an otherwise uneventful summer, both the parents and kids are excited to be a part of Camp Fusion. Kids make friends with other kids and look forward to seeing each other summer after summer. Campers are immersed in a loving, nurturing environment at Camp Fusion, and the experiences are amazing. The camp offers swimming, lots of games, field trips, character-building and educational activities.

According to Apostle Renita Graber, “If we are going to turn this world upside down – we have to start with the kids. I preach about the church being seen in this season but it is not to show off but to show up. The church has to put in the work.”

Parents can still sign their kids up for this wonderful summer camp by visiting fusionyouthoutreach.com. The current Camp Fusion session runs July 5-29.

Donations are also being accepted. Community members may contact the camp at 985-212-0553 or go straight to the website.

Camp Fusion is located on the Victorious Life Family Worship Center grounds at 8896 Richmond Drive in LaPlace.
