LAPLACE — The St. John the Baptist Parish Independence Day Celebration and Firework Show will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 1 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard.

Entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. This event is free to the community. For more information, visit sjbparish.gov.
