Ronnie Jude “Roe” Hymel passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the age of 63. He was born in Wallace, LA and was a resident of Vacherie, LA.
Ronnie had an unwavering love for his wife and was proud of his daughters. He loved hunting and gardening. He would get so excited to pick vegetables with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Beloved husband of the late Clare Stein Hymel. Loving father of Terry Hymel, Tina McCrary (Justin) and Toni Luminais (Scott). Grandfather of Kate Luminais, Ryan Luminais, Wesley McCrary and Andie Jo McCrary. Son of the late George Hymel and Anne Borne Hymel. Brother of Cheryl Bourgeois (Norbert), Maureen Hymel, Rosann Hymel and the late Wayne Hymel. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Ronnie was the rock of his family, and he will be missed dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Mass at St. Philip Catholic Church, 1175 LA-18, Vacherie, LA on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Visitation at church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Vacherie.
