HAMMOND — St. Charles Catholic baseball players Michael Hotard and Brady St. Pierre were selected by the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association among the top 100 players in the state to participate in the inaugural Underclass All-State Games at Southeastern Louisiana University last week.
The student athletes experienced staying in a dorm on campus, participated in drills and games, and enjoyed a banquet with their families.
St. Pierre pitched two innings during the All-State Games. He faced seven batters, striking out one and allowing no hits and only one walk. Hotard also pitched two innings and allowed no hits.
