Ponchatoula Man Arrested for Burglary and Theft Charges

Chief Jimmy Travis reports the arrest of 26 year old Forrest Fagen, a white male resident of Ponchatoula, who was take into custody Monday on charges relating to a business burglary and vehicle theft.
On June 12, 2022, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating a business burglary at the “House of Candy Body Shop” near Carpenter’s Landing in Hammond.
During the investigation, detectives identified Fagen as the primary suspect. Fagen was alleged to have stolen a car which was located the next day on South Airport Road in Hammond. Fagen was taken into custody the following day and booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on the following charges:
(1) count – burglary of a business
(1) count – theft of a motor vehicle
(1) count – criminal damage to property.
*All persons accused of a crime are innocent until proven guilty.
