LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2022 Employee of the 1st Quarter, Lorraine Washington, CNA. Lorraine was nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for her dedication to the hospital.

Lorraine is a 1983 graduate of Lutcher High School. She attended Eastern College of Health Vocation where she graduated in 1984. Lorraine joined St. James Parish Hospital in 2019 and currently serves as a certified nursing assistant.

Lorraine was nominated by Haleigh Milazzo, RN, Tabatha Frase, RN, and Jayme Alleman, RN, for her hard work and dedication to the hospital and patients.

“As nurses, we can count on Lorraine to always assist patients in a timely manner. She does her job well and keeps us informed of any patient status changes. She keeps the patients smiling and they always ask for her by name,” said Haleigh, Tabatha and Jayme.

Lorraine commented, “I am a hard worker.  I treat people like I would like to be treated and I enjoy working at St. James Hospital.

“I’m here to make a difference in the community. I love helping and taking care of others.”
