LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital’s Wound Care Center was recently recognized is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s Patient Satisfaction Award. Recipients of this award meet or exceed national patient satisfaction benchmarks over a set period of time.

“This achievement reaffirms our commitment to the patient experience and quality of care our wound care center provides to patients every day,” said Nicole Chambers, RN, Clinic Lead Nurse.

“It is an even greater accomplishment during a global pandemic.”

RestorixHealth launched its Center Recognition Award for Patient Satisfaction to recognize those clinics that earn a patient satisfaction score of 96 % or higher.

St. James Parish Hospital’s Wound Care Center is dedicated to improving outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in patients with non-healing wounds. The hospital’s clinic is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound care who combine traditional and advanced techniques that are proven to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.

St. James Parish Hospital’s Wound Care Clinic is located in Lutcher inside the Medical Plaza next to the Hospital.
