Today starts the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer for teen drivers. As parents and as a country, we need to engage with young drivers to keep them safe. Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for teens (15 to 18 years old) in the United States.
We also need to be setting a better example for teens. When they see their parents and family members obeying the rules of the road, young drivers get the message.
Here are a few things that will keep drivers safe on the road:
– [ ] Avoid Texting and Driving

– [ ] Slow Down and Drive the Speed Limit
– [ ] Wear your Seat Belt
– [ ] Avoid Driving Impaired
Familiarize yourself with Louisiana’s Graduated Driver’s License Laws and talk to the teen drivers you love and help keep them safe. #DestinationZeroDeaths
