Celebrate Older Americans Month at the Edgard Library: Teens are invited to pick up kits filled with resources on how to provide and take care of older individuals in their lives. Kits can be picked up through May 29. For more information, call 985-497-3453
Meet the Author: Meet Mr. Royd Anderson on Saturday, May 28. He will be discussing his book, “New Orleans Disasters: Firsthand Accounts of Crescent City Tragedy.”  The first signing will be at the Edgard Library from 10 a.m. to noon, and the second will be at the Garyville Library from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.  Anderson also be screening two of his documentaries at both events: Mother’s Day Bus Crash on 610 & The Luling Ferry Disaster.
