Clare Stein Hymel passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 62. She was a native and resident of Vacherie, LA.
Clare did a lot to help her family growing up. Family was very important to her. She was a very hard working and renaissance women. Clare knew a little bit about everything. She loved to do crafts and cooking with her grandchildren and enjoyed growing vegetables in the garden. Clare was always smiling and holding a cup of diet coke. She would drop everything to run and help her children and grandchildren. Clare took great care of her husband and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend.
Beloved wife of Ronnie “Ro” Hymel. Loving mother of Terry Hymel, Tina McCrary (Justin) and Toni Luminais (Scott). Grandmother of Kate Luminais, Ryan Luminais, Wesley McCrary and Andie Jo McCrary. Daughter of the late Leonce Stein and Marguerite Webre Stein. Sister of Jane Duet, Gary, Roland, Stephen, Patrick, Edmond, Drew, and Anthony “Tony” Stein and the late Margaret Stein, Huey, Ronald, Gerald, Bruno, Guy, Claude and Mark Stein.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at St. Philip Catholic Church, 1175 LA-18, Vacherie, LA 70090 on Monday May 23, 2022. Visitation from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Vacherie.
