Amite City Police Department investigate a Hit & Run

On May 12, 2022 at 9:30pm, the Amite City Police Department began an investigation into a Hit & Run that occurred at 1100 W. Oak St in Amite, LA at the Exxon on the Run. The suspect driver, A black male with red dreads, shown in the photographs below was driving a white newer model 4 door GMC. The GMC truck struck another vehicle in front of Exxon on W. Oak St then fled the scene.
