LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital is excited to welcome a new provider to its growing list of independent specialty clinics.

Amanda Berdon, PA-C, hand specialist with Ortho LA, is now seeing patients in Lutcher. Amanda serves patients in need of orthopedic care for the hand, wrist and/or forearm.

Amanda received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Harding University where she also went on to earn her master of science in physician assistant studies.

She is nationally certified by the Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.

“We are extremely excited to continue to expand orthopedic services in St. James Parish,” said Jennifer Lambert, physician clinic manager.

“Our new Therapy Center offers many wonderful tools for hand therapy, so having a Hand Specialist right next door will be great for our patients.”
