LAPLACE — St. Charles Catholic’s Alumnus of the Year for 2022 is Andrew Prejeant, president of the SCC Quarterback Club and father of one alumnus and two current Comets.

Prejeant is a mechanical engineer with the Bayer Corporation who has served SCC in many ways over the years, demonstrating a commitment to Catholic education in his time spent volunteering with SCC Athletics and with the Advisory Board. Prejeant’s wife, Lisa Prejeant, is also an alumnus of SCC, and she serves as a Catholic school Pre-K educator at St. Joan of Arc in LaPlace.

Prejeant was honored by the Archdiocese of New Orleans at a ceremony last week where Archbishop Gregory Aymond celebrated the Alumni of the Year for the various schools of the Archdiocese.
