SCSO seeks help locating missing 15 year-old

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is still seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15 year-old female, Amari Self.

On Wednesday, April 27th 2022, Amari Self exited her residence in Boutte, LA for school and did not return. Her grandmother contacted the Sheriff’s Office and reported her as a runaway.

It is believed that Amari is possibly somewhere in Terrebonne Parish.

Amari Self is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 170 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, and khaki pants at approximately 6:20 am. She was marked absent in several of her classes on Wednesday, April 27th.

This investigation is ongoing.
