SCSO seeks help finding arson subject

On Thursday, April 14th 2022, at approximately 11:30 pm, deputies responded to a reported structure fire at 148 Hollywood Park Road in Montz, LA. The residence at 148 Hollywood Park Road is believed to be the target of the arson. The residence at 146 Hollywood Park Road was also a total loss, and a portion of 150 Hollywood Park Road was damaged.
The homeowner was inside the residence at 148 Hollywood Park Road during the time of the fire. He was transported to a local area hospital and received treatment for minor injuries.
Video evidence received shows a subject fleeing from the home just after the fire started. The investigation is ongoing.
