TPSO: Silver Alert update

Following the original posting of the Silver Alert, a tip was received that Deborah was spotted at the Hammond Walmart just after 11PM on Wednesday May 4. Camera surveillance in the store has confirmed this information. Store employees also said Deborah mentioned she was trying to get to Baton Rouge, and would travel Hwy 190 all the way there. She was then seen on camera walking out of the store and going west on Highway 190.

Chief Jimmy Travis is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing senior citizen.
Deborah R. Collins is a 68 year old white female with hearing impairment and other health conditions which may impair her judgement. Deborah was last seen at her home during the morning hours of May 4, 2022.
Deborah is described as being about 4′ tall, and weighs about 140 pounds. She has very long salt and pepper hair, possibly past her waist. She was last seen wearing a camouflage long sleeve shirt and black pants. It is believed she left on foot, possibly attempting to get a ride to Jennings, La.
