TPSO seeks help finding “Big Tex” Dump Trailer

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating a “Big Tex” Dump Trailer which was stolen from a construction site on West Yellow Water Road in Hammond on Tuesday May 3, 2022. The trailer is described as a black, dual axle, gooseneck trailer with a bed tarp over the top.
Video footage captured on a nearby security system shows the trailer being pulled southbound on the West I-55 Service Road just after 6AM, by what appears to be a newer model white Ford F-350 with aftermarket wheels.
Chief Jimmy Travis is asking anyone with knowledge of the incident or the whereabouts of the stolen trailer to contact Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa, Inc. at 1-800-554-5245. Detective Wylie Foster is the lead investigator in this incident.
