SLU investigates abduction and sexual assault case

On the morning of Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:52AM, the Southeastern Louisiana University Police Department received a report of an abduction and sexual assault. The incident occurred in the area of North Oak Street and West Dakota Street at approximately 8AM. The victim stated the suspect produced a firearm during the incident.
A picture of the actual suspect vehicle is included.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7, with short twists in his hair. The suspect was not known to the victim. If you have any information, please contact the University Police Department as 985-549-2222.
