United Community Bank announces promotions

LAPLACEUnited Community Bank Chief Executive Officer, Mike Riché has announced the promotions of Sonny Aldridge and Prentiss Wilks to executive vice president.

Aldridge started his career at UCB in 2003, holding various banking positions over the years to include his current role as the bank’s chief operations officer.  Wilks started his career at UCB in 2011, as the banks chief credit officer.

In addition, Brenda Hebert has been promoted as the bank’s chief financial officer. Hebert has been with UCB since 1999 and most recently served as a senior vice president and controller.

“All three individuals serve on the bank’s Senior Management team and play an integral role in the ongoing development, innovation and success at UCB,” said Riché.

Kristy Rodrigue was promoted to senior vice president and technology officer. Kristy started her banking career in 2003, holding various banking positions over the years while specializing in bank technology.  She holds a Certified Community Bank Technology Officer certification by ICBA and Bank Information Technology Management by GSB, University of Wisconsin.

As the technology officer, Kristy will continue developing the technology department by implementing administrative and support systems for network, infrastructure, and bank services to improve efficiencies in all areas of the bank.

Jennifer Breaux was promoted to loan operations manager after serving as assistant loan operations manager for two and a half years. Jennifer has been in banking for 16 years, holding various positions in various banking departments.  Jennifer joined UCB in 2005 after graduating from Nicholls State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.  As the loan operations manager, Jennifer will be responsible for implementing new loan policies, procedures, and government regulations related to loan processing, as well as, working with compliance and credit department for regulatory accuracy.
