THIBODAUX — The Pro Football Camp Foundation, along with presenting sponsors, orthoLA, (Jason Higgins MD, David Elias MD, Patrick Ellender MD, John Hildenbrand MD, Eric Greber MD, Allen Borne MD, William Johnson, MD and Keith Duplantis, MD), Thibodaux Regional Health System and Nicholls State University, are thrilled to announce the 14th Annual Pro Football Camp.

The camp will be held on Friday, July 22 in Guidry Stadium at Nicholls State University. The mission of the PFC has always been to provide an affordable football camp experience for kids in the southeast Louisiana area. However, in the past several years, the camp has grown to include athletes from all over Louisiana and surrounding states. The camp had a great showing last year after being unable to have camp in 2020—over 300 athletes from four states and 65 different schools! Coordinators are planning for an even bigger camp this year!

To date, the PFC Foundation has awarded close to $40,000 in scholarships to high school seniors that have attended camp the summer prior to their senior year. It is because of the generosity of so many businesses and individuals in our area, that coordinators are able to not only offer this camp for such an affordable cost, but also contribute to organizations that make a difference in the lives of so many in local communities, including the Ben Meyer Foundation, Camp Moula, and the Nicholls State University Foundation. It is an honor to continue the camp in memory of Albert Elias, Dr. David Elias’s late brother, who was the driving force behind the PFC since its inception in 2007.
