A Red Flag Warning is issued when there is a combination of very low humidity, strong winds, and warm weather which can produce an increased risk for fires.
This is an uncommon warning for our area. Residents should refrain from outdoor burning, do not throw cigarettes from cars, avoid parking on dry grass, and use extreme caution if using equipment that could make a spark.
