TPSO investigating crash with 18-wheeler and train

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff‘s Office along with other first responders are currently investigating a crash involving an Amtrak train and an 18-wheeler at Highway 51 and Bonfiglio Lane just north of Tickfaw.
No injuries have been reported, but traffic congestion should be expected in the area for the next few hours. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
