St. James Sheriff’s Office March 8 homicide investigation continues

St. James Sheriff’s Office is still seeking any information that would lead to the arrest of the person who shot Mathew Richard Wiggins late evening on March 8, 2022, on Lionel Washington Street, in Lutcher.
The investigation has provided some leads. St. James Sheriff’s Office has been able to obtain images of the suspect.
Detectives have also arrested Kenneth Camel, 51 years old, of Lutcher with Accessory after the Fact of Second Degree Murder in connection with this case.
