LAPLACE — The Kiwanis Club of Tri Parishes spent the morning with Sheriff Mike Tregre, his deputies, and several St. John Parish firefighters during the organization’s First Responders Appreciation Day Monday morning at PJ’s Coffee of LaPlace.
The event also served as a membership drive. New members of the local Kiwanis Club are L’OBSERVATEUR, Zina Smith-Magee and Barbara Mitchell.
