Hammond Police seek suspect for attempted A/C theft

City of Hammond, LA – On February 21, 2022, the Hammond Police Department began investigating an attempted theft of two air conditioning units at Foti Financial, located at 1111 West Morris Avenue.
During the incident, the air conditioning units were damaged by the suspect who was attempting to remove the copper from them. HPD officers were able to locate security footage of the suspect who is described as an older, tall, slender black male.
